As part of its long-term commitment to social responsibility, the owner of Diamonds Leisure Beach and Golf Resort in Diani, Kenya, established the Rondwe Jalaram Girls Secondary School to provide quality education for girls from underprivileged backgrounds. Built on the land of the resort’s golf course, the full-board school offers academic instruction, accommodation, and daily meals, removing financial and logistical barriers that often prevent girls in nearby villages from accessing secondary education.
Diamonds Leisure Beach maintains a strong relationship with the school, regularly donating furniture, computers, stationery, clean water, and food supplies. This support enhances the students’ learning environment and reflects the resort’s ongoing dedication to community well-being. Through this initiative, Planhotel promotes gender equality, education, and sustainability—laying the foundation for long-term positive impact in the region.
