The JRE gastronomic experience returns to the most exclusive Diamonds Resorts, with its latest proposals.
The initiative, now in its third year, continues to grow and expand: 49 star chefs of the Jeunes Restaurateurs, originating not only from Italy but from all over Europe, bring their culinary art to the enchanting Diamonds Hotels and Resorts’ tropical locations of the Athuruga and Thudufushi islands in the Maldives and now also to the Star of the East Resort in Zanzibar.
Many new developments come with the third edition of "Dining with the Stars", the gourmet event that brings the star chefs of the Jeunes Restaurateurs to the kitchens of the most exclusive Diamonds Hotels & Resorts of the Planhotel Hospitality Group.
This time there will be JR chefs not only from Italy but also from all over Europe, working to create sensory experiences with unique dishes, to delight the palates of guests, in these charming locations.
As Ernesto Iaccarino, President of Jeunes Restaurateurs, explains, "the initiative has been welcomed enthusiastically by the whole association. It's a great opportunity for our chefs to perform in the wonderful Diamonds Hotels & Resorts destinations of the Maldives and Zanzibar and they will do their best to create a unique event in the world. "
How will they achieve this? Every week from the beginning of January to the end of April, members of the JR - 49 chefs in total - will create à la carte menus for the restaurants of the three resorts, spoiling guests with a variety of their own creations.
One of the 49 Chefs has been awarded as World's Best Female Chef . We are proud to have her at Diamonds Thudufushi from the 13th to the 20th of February, giving our guests the possibility to taste her best dishes.
The ultimate culinary experience will then be an exclusive 6 course gourmet Gala dinner, served in the splendid settings of the Over Water Restaurants of Athuruga and Thudufushi and the Ocean Blue Restaurant of Star of the East.
Furthermore, for those really passionate about food preparation, there will be an opportunity to participate in a cooking class arranged once a week, where the JR chefs will share their recipes and secrets.
This is the way the Dining with the Stars initiative officially becomes an integral part of and an essential expression of, the luxury that only the Diamonds Resorts are able to offer.
Book your holiday with culinary excellence in mind: This initiative is included in the rate when you book the Water Villas of the Maldives from January 2nd to April 30th 2017 and Diamonds Star of the East in Zanzibar from January 2nd to April 16th 2017.
Guests of the Beach Bungalows and the Junior Suites may take advantage of this initiative for an additional fee and depending on availability.
